Directions to Quality Hotel Edinburgh

By Air

Our courtesy minibus will take you to and from the airport in 2 minutes. When you arrive at the airport please call us from the courtesy phone in the arrivals hall. The minibus returns to the airport every 20 minutes on demand, reception will advise you of exact times.

By Road

Road access to the hotel is easy from the two-level junction on the A8 midway between the Gogar and Newbridge roundabouts. If approaching from the Edinburgh side join the A8 from the city bypass and proceed towards Glasgow . From the North and West you should join the A8 at the Newbridge roundabout and proceed towards Edinburgh. Follow signs for Edinburgh International Airport.

When you come off the A8 and head into the airport take the first exit left at the roundabout (Quality Hotel signs should be visible from here). Follow road to T-junction and turn right. At the mini roundabout stay left. The hotel short stay car park is on your left, long stay is on your right. To enter collect a ticket at the barrier. On departure hand the ticket to reception and they will issue you with a pin code to exit.

By Rail

Edinburgh Waverley Station is the main railway station. It is in the city centre and can be reached by taxi or Air-Bus. From here there are services to Glasgow (45 minutes) and a variety of other destination in Scotland and England . Most train services also operate from Edinburgh Haymarket Station , approximately 6 miles away. It is on the main bus route between the airport and city centre.

Edinburgh City Centre by bus

Catch the courtesy minibus to the airport. The public service bus stops are located at stand 18 on the terminal forecourt road outside the UK arrivals hall.

There is an express bus service from Edinburgh International Airport to Edinburgh City Centre (number 100 bus). Tickets are purchased on the bus, £3.00 single and £5.00 return. Journey is around 25 minutes and terminates at Waverley Bridge, just beside the main train station, Waverley Station.
